CAPTAIN 9 & THE KNICKERBOCKER TRIO- Starting A Rock n Roll Grease Fire With... LP

$ 13.00

Captain 9’s played rockus Garage Punk n’ Roll, blasting out of a basement in Williamsport, PA. They sound like they’ve listened to their beat up Ramones and Kingsmen records too much. They sound like they’re having a good time and don’t care what you think. Over the course of ten or so years, they released a good-sized handful of 7”s and a few demo tapes. The Scum of the Earth demo was slightly altered and released as an LP on Rip Off Records in the ‘90s. It fit right in with the other Budget Rock on the label. The band hasn’t really existed since the early/mid ‘90s.
When the band released a 45 with two cover songs out of nowhere in 2014, we wanted more! We quickly contacted the band to put together a collection of hits, demos and unreleased material, recorded 1984-1994. The members hand picked the songs from official releases and band-only tapes to bring you Starting A Rock n’ Roll Grease Fire With Captain 9’s and the Knickerbocker Trio, which we can only hope will be your new favorite party record.
